Today we saw the fruit of our labor feed many. The hog we fed and watered and tended was butchered on Sunday, roasted overnight, and made the most beautiful and yummy pulled pork. Of course we could never do this on our own. It was a team effort! (You know it wasn’t me out there helping with the butchering.) It’s days like this that make it all worth the effort!

On a side note, we may have a source for some calves and hope to visit the farm this week during feeding time to see if I am really, for truly on board with bottle feeding 3-4 calves. Cause you know that’s gonna fall on me while the Old Man is at work.
