A very hot but uneventful day on the farm. Both morning and evening chores were without all the drama of yesterday.

This morning the Old Man loaded the whole hog he and his buddy butchered on Sunday into a well-iced cooler. Tonight they’ll put it in the roaster and Lord willing it will feed the hardworking guys at an event all day tomorrow. I love sharing what the good Lord has blessed us with–clean, local food responsibly raised and lovingly prepared.
