We knew the sliding glass door in the kitchen was in bad shape and would need to be replaced.
Say “hello” to Eventually.
He’s furry and cute and soft and has that fabulous puppy smell.
He thought the rotting wood of the sliding glass door looked interesting. So with a swipe of the paw and nibble with those little sharp puppy teeth, he managed to reveal a major problem with the wood door.
Thus eventually comes to visit.
Now is good too.
It would have been nice to do this back when we did our mini makeover in the kitchen. But I guess now is good too.
And only months after our mini makeover we had to tear off the trim and pull out the door, and…
…reconfigure the header and level the threshold, and…
…cut new trim, insulate, repair the plaster and caulk in all the gaps.
Still, I’m glad to have it done. Even if sooner than planned.
