I took a little time to put together some of our favorite things and arranged them into a gallery wall in our bonus room. This is a room that doesn’t need a complete gut, but could use a little updating. The dark paneling on the lower half of the wall collects dust and is difficult to clean. It will probably go at some point. And I day dream about taking out the ceiling and creating a raised ceiling and adding some beams from the old barn for character. (I guess that’d be a complete gut to the studs, huh?)
For now, though, the farm side of things needs our attention so my “little” bonus room project must wait. It may get a coat of paint this winter which would be an improvement. Until then, I’m happy with my gallery wall. It warms the room and makes it personal and homey. Perfect for now while the farm side of life gets some much needed attention.
