When looking for a project (and I’m always looking for a project), I try to find things that I would really love to have in my home. At times I break my rule, and it usually turns out fine. But when I do, I don’t feel I’m being true to my self or my sense of style. I really want to feel a little twinge of not being OK with letting a piece go, then I know I’ve hit the nail on the head.

The more items that pass through my doors, the more I realize I can’t keep it all. This one is hard though…..

….I’m loving the rustic, chic finish….
 ….the thick, chunky frame….
….the intricate detail….
…and the dramatic statement that it makes!
Seriously in love!

Alas, we were not meant to be. Dear hubby says the time has come. No more bringing home my forlorn puppy projects and begging to keep them in the end.

Which brings me to the exciting news!

This piece is available!

annnnnd…

…it’s going to be at my sister’s store!

Along with several other of my pieces!

I’m excited to be in a brick and mortar store. Nervous, too. It’s a bit outside my comfort zone. What if no one likes my style? What if my prices are too high, or too low? What if, what if…

How does the saying go?

Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

So I venture…. and we shall see in the end what is gained.
